What we collect

When you create a GeoVin:VU account we store your email address and profile details. When you connect a YouTube channel we store the channel's identity (name, ID, thumbnail) and an encrypted OAuth token that lets GeoVin:VU upload videos to that channel on your behalf. We also store the automations you configure (topic prompts, schedules) and the videos generated for you.

How we use YouTube data

GeoVin:VU uses YouTube API Services. We access your channel only to upload videos you have scheduled, and to read basic channel information and video statistics for your dashboard. We never read your private messages, subscriber lists, or any data beyond what the upload and analytics features require. By using GeoVin:VU you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Token storage and revocation

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and are only decrypted by our upload service at the moment a video is published. You can disconnect a channel at any time from your Channels page, which revokes our access with Google, or via your Google security settings.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers required to generate your videos (AI script, voice, image, and transcription providers receive the content of your prompts and scripts — never your identity or tokens) and with Google/YouTube to publish your videos.

Deletion

Deleting your account removes your profile, automations, tokens, and stored artifacts. Videos already published to your YouTube channel remain yours and are unaffected.
